I love watching Dancing with the Stars and this season is probably the one with the most talented and strongest cast. So I was very surprised to see that despite having the highest score of the night with 59 out of 60 points, Extra correspondent and all around cutie Maria Menounos was sent home. The ballroom booed the results and even the judges looked stunned at the elimination – after all Maria Menounos had consistently been on the top of the leader board and got the first perfect score of the season. With Maria Menounos out of the competition that leaves Cuban hottie William Levy who scored a perfect 30 out of shaking his assets, NFL player Donald Driver who I have to say put out a great Samba routine and Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins who despite making an error during her second dance got enough votes to make it to the finals.
After her shocking elimination, Maria, 33, said: “I learned so many things”. She also said referring to all her injuries: “I learned how strong I was. I learned to persevere. We didn’t know our dances yesterday until we got on the floor.” Her pro partner, Derek Hough said he loved “dancing with this person — not just dancing with her, but just her as a person.”
